Let’s pause and think about our breath

We generally take our breath for granted. It is not something that receives our curiosity, and we don’t care to have basic knowledge about it.
The Covid pandemic has somewhat changed this. Whatever the origins of the virus, we gave it an environment to flourish in and destroy so many lives! Further, other man-made creations like industry and vehicular traffic, disturbed environmental balance, unhealthy lifestyle and habit patterns are not helping either! There is renewed attention being given to respiratory health, as the virus has made us all more at risk with respect to illnesses of the lungs.
To deal with such ailments, we are taking medication. Research into holistic remedies like Yoga & Pranayama is also in place, but not accepted by one and all. In ancient times, chemical free food, zero pollution, a lifestyle in alignment with the biorhythms of nature was the mantra.
What are the other possible solutions? If we can understand the breath, and how we can use it to our advantage in a customised manner, we can benefit. Why customised? Each health challenge and personality issue responds to different techniques to give good results.
We shall elaborate on some solutions and a deeper understanding of using our breath as our tool to wellness.
