At Srijan, Independence Day is always celebrated with splendour! We had a flag hoisting and march past proceedings, and our student Mehak Kashyap gave an inspiring speech on the Constitution of India. The young students enthusiastically sang songs on patriotism, while our senior Grade 8 students spoke about their aspirations to contribute to society’s well being. 

 

It was an occasion for the kids to feel a sense of respect and pride towards our nation, and inculcate a healthy patriotism where they think about values of secularism & freedom, & also their relationship to India as young citizens of the future.
